Artist Account Manager

Splice is looking for an Artist Account Manager to join our team in New York to help us build the creative hub for the modern musician. As our Artist Account Manager, you’ll focus on developing and maintaining excellent relationships with Splice’s artist content providers by enabling them to maximize the service as both a sales and promotional platform. We’re looking for someone to support the Artist Partnerships team to manage existing artist content initiatives designed to drive new users and subscribers, increase brand awareness, support diversification efforts, and generally support the strategic needs of the Splice platform across existing and future products.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop strategies that includes project objectives, deliverables, scheduling, acceptance criteria
  • Manage rollouts of artist content campaigns, including:
    • Coordinating with external teams, including artists, labels, and managers
    • Coordinating day-to-day digital maintainence with other local teams, including Artist Partnerships, Marketing, Creative, and Business Development
    • Developing launch/marketing strategies & promotional planning
    • Ensuring proper execution of contract documents
    • Asset coordination, preparing/editing content for launch
    • Monitoring and reporting project budgets
    • Reporting on progress to team
  • Content may include, but is not limited to:
    • Sample Packs
    • Project Files, Stems
    • Remix Contests
    • Tutorials / Educational Content
    • Other video content / testimonials

What we’re looking for:

  • You have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience in a start-up, tech, or the music industry
  • You have account management experience with an established digital music service, established record label or media company
  • You are passionate about creating inclusive, creative and effective environments where people can do their best work
  • You are comfortable & enjoy working in a fast paced and iterative environment
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You're detail oriented and a self starter, with a keen curiosity and ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Ability and willingness to travel to music events/festivals/conferences once or twice a quarter

It’s a bonus if:

  • You’re a music producer
  • You're experienced with Salesforce, Hubspot or another comparable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
